Anyone in the know what's happened to it?

Will it have a board? If so will they import the datebase from this one or will it be entirely seperate?

Last I spoke about it with the band, they said they didn't see why they'd put another one up, as there seems to be little reason - this has acted as the official forum for a couple of years now.
Of course, they might change their minds but that was the last I heard.

No one's sure if the official site (i.e. the ".co.uk" one, not the Myspace) will ever truly go online. I suspect not, given that we've never seen any development of it since the "Sign up for our mailing list here" screen went up. If, in a parallel universe, the site did go up and have a message board, I think this board would continue to exist unless the official one was significantly more functional than this one. Whether an official board went up or not, the future of this board would continue - as it is presently - to be the decision of Admin: she set this place up, and it's her forum to do with as she will. I suspect that this place would continue even if there were an official forum: we've currently got a nice 'best of both worlds' setup where we are independent from the band and their management, but we have excellent relations with them. Seems the best way to go for a band's forum, IMO. EDIT - and Admin comes along while I was typing and says it all first... haha, damnit!

The website appears to be undergoing construction. . . At least it's a change?

To be honest, that holder message looks (to me) more like the domain has stopped being paid for by the band and the owner/host has put some temporary placeholder message up. I might be wrong, but my bet would be that we're now LESS likely to see an official ".co.uk" site than we were before now. I'd quite like to see a properly maintained official site that wasn't a Myspace/Facebook page - it wouldn't need to be anything other than a very simple site with the usual News/Releases/Links etc sections that even a lot of smaller bands than PRR already have - but I think that the chances of this now look slimmer rather than greater.
It's a bit of a shame as I think it would be a useful tool to solidify interest from potential new fans who had come across PRR on the off-chance (seen them play the Koko etc), but while it would be nice I equally don't think it's a make-or-break situation.

Having talked to the person working with Chloƫ on the new site, I think that's not the case. My best guess is that they've just installed the framework for the new site on the server. But I have to agree the current page doesn't look very PRRish.

Hmmm.... Mixed views. Both solid points. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (or ask one of the band members via FB/twitter or at a gig)

The domain is leased until 5th December this year. If they don't renew the lease we'll know if they intend to have a site. Personally, I think (sorry, I KNOW) they are missing a trick by not having a personal domain - something that Sony insisted on them having. Also personally, I think they chose the wrong domain suffix, if not solely for the reason of pricing Just my 2p

To be fair, I think anyone can find out the date a domain lease expires, because can people do sneaky things like reserve it etc...
