I can't wait to have the physical release in my hands. A couple of tracks are lacking somewhat, I think, but on the whole it's a good'un.

How'd you get a download? Mine has been dispatched from Amazon UK. They estimate arrival by November 8 - lame! I think it will get here sooner than that though, maybe within two weeks. Still, I wants it now! Same here... I've only ordered through Amazon once before and the delivery was much faster than that... I also ordered AVO from a 3rd party seller there a couple of weeks ago. It hasn't arrived yet, but apparantly it wont arrive till about Nov 8 as well... Oh well. |

Someone I talked a few days ago was talking about how awesome it was... They said they had come into possession of it via a leak.. I know it's been (pretty much) globally released now, but I hope she had actually downloaded it from someone in Germany... Not that I condone torrenting/file sharing, I am just hoping there wasn't any leak...

Reading the garish yellow liner notes...
a) congrats BA and Lawrie on another thanks mention, I'm not bitter at all...
b) all tracks written by Jon and Bellamy, except Fight Fire by Bellamy only - that's unexpected. Am I still allowed to like it that much?
c) guest vocals by Susanne Courtney on Black Mourning - is that Andrew's pop idol wife? Can't say I noticed the extra voice - anyone else hearing it?

Ta Well unless someone's popped out another singing Susanne Courtney I'd imagine that is indeed Anders' wife. I can't hear the individual extra voice per se but you can certainly hear that the backing vocals are female-heavy, up until now I'd assumed they've just layered Chloe but obviously not. |

Gah... I pre-ordered from Play and it's still not arrived. Unfortunately, given that I'm out straight from work tomorrow, I'm not going to get a chance to listen to it until Wednesday evening (and that's assuming the postman brings it tomorrow). I will now retire to the sulky corner for a mope...

Checked on the HMV website for the price of the album as money is tight at the minute, saw it was £11.99 for the digipak version, thought 'alright, cool', and went into the city to buy it... to see the price in store was £13.99.
Fuck that.
So ordering now, will probably have it end of the week, hopefully. :/
