Maybe the US amazon has it totally wrong and has just got their track list off the incorrect itunes. I don't think that's the case as someone with a physical copy in the US brought this all up today. Did they? I thought you did! Just a few posts ago!

Oh yeah, just reread the last bit of your initial post! Must be real then. OMG! I think the US release has a different track order. As per amazon.com: 1. Blitzkrieg 2. Black Mourning 3. Never Divide 4. Last Man, Last Round 5. Patriarch 6. Valour 7. Fight Fire 8. Over The Top 9. Open Insurrection 10. Armistice I've had a listen to it in this sequence, (assuming the US version doesn't change any of the songs, only the order they're in), and I actually quite like it. Never Divide follows from BM really well (it sounds better when it's not following OTT), as does Patriarch from LMLR. The only bit that doesn't work is Open Insurrection following OTT - needs to be Blitzkrieg really. I take back what I said earlier that long-distance continuity works as well as short distance: I think this is true of albums 1 and 2, but not for Blitz/OI

I do, however, think that OTT and ND could benefit from some separation, as they sound very similar.

Wasn't there a Canadian guy who posted here a lot? Where's a Canadian when you need one, eh?

Never divide @ 2:26- backing vox by C. & J. Did anyone managed to hear the lyrics that are being sung at the moment I mentioned? for me it's too difficult to hear it and it does not appear in the booklet.

I've been informed it's an error on the digital side, not an alternative track listing- the changes are being made but it's not something that can be done with instant effect, so on iTunes, the correct order will be available from November 16th. The album is available in the U.S. at a good price (and in the correct order...) from www.cmdistro.com/Item/Pure_Reason_Revolution_-_Hammer_And_Anvil/35761As far as I know, all the hard copies have the correct order..

coolio.
iTunes is a pain to sort with stuff like this, the normal response is more or less "...so?".

coolio. iTunes is a pain to sort with stuff like this, the normal response is more or less "...so?". Haha, iTunes is such a crap. I had to sync my iPod no less than three times until it had all of H&A on it. The first time, it was missing FF, LMLR, Blitz and Armistice (so pretty random) and obviously I didn't check and only noticed when I wanted to play the album...

I put the cd in my computer, and itunes recognised it as the wrong tracklisting. it also had Tom Bellamy listed as the sole composer for every track!

Finally listening to it. A few seconds in. And I love it. So massive. Proper opinion coming soon THIS! Just bought it, givin it a first rotation and although I'm not even halfway through I already feel that strong urge to spread the word about how much I love it. Kinda got the feeling I bought the wrong CD, because all I hear is a long eargasm. <3 EDIT: Finished. Turned out to be one of the very few buys of 2010 I don't regret. <3 Also thought I'd never hear any melodies as harmonic as Porcupine Tree's "Stranger By The Minute" but then God (ex Machina) spoke "let there be Armistice!" Now how am I gonna waste the time until Dortmund in November?
