Yes - I do prefer to leave politics to politicians. the only people who think they have say in politics, are simple americans who voted for Obama. So, what, people should disengage with politics and let others rule them? I know I'm just a naive post-teenager who couldn't possibly have any valid world experience or opinion but that seems excessively defeatist, non? |

Ok all, just a little reminder to avoid making it personal- as the forum rules state, personal attacks and the use of strong language towards another member will not be tolerated. This also goes for similar attacks towards band members. I understand this is a sensitive subject but just want to make sure we keep it on-topic please. I won't however, apologise for the content of my post other than that. Although to be fair, that discussion is indeed a sidetrack of the topic "armistice download". So, no problem if you want to drop it as it is admittedly off topic.

If the conversation can be had without personal attacks then it's not a big problem, we have plenty of off-topic discussions around here.
However, there is a problem when it turns into a direct argument between two (or more) forum members, rather than a productive/interesting discussion. And while a direct argument can, in some cases, be interesting it more often than not leads to personal attacks somewhere along the line.

I think it could have been done better, but I'd say that the more likely flow of interest is PRR fans thinking about war and remembrance Mmm, didn't think about it that way. Good point. |
