I sincerely doubt that they would casually announce the dissolution of the band, like that. It likely just means they have no further shows planned, and because we're all a bit starved for news, we're blowing it all out of proportion, or fearing the worst. Lawrie all but confirmed that the band have some sort of future plans in this very thread, so I doubt there's cause for concern (although if he could throw us any more reassuring crumbs, I'm sure that would be most appreciated ). It is puzzling at just how low profile the band are though, and clearly they should be out there touring and promoting themselves. I imagine they must be rather non-plussed at how Super Ball have handled them. Does anyone know if they committed to producing a set number of albums for Super Ball? As I've said, I think they should just chalk this one down to experience, work on producing a stellar fourth album, and then get out as support act for as many bands as possible. All easier said than done I'm sure, but I really want to see the band moving forward and gaining new fans.

I don't know anything else beyond the facts that the shows will be taking place in October/November as the band have already made public. No indication whatsoever of anything that lies beyond that, neither positive nor negative developments. Sorry to be no help, folks! Other than that I pretty much agree word-for-word with the rest of Butler's post, totally spot on opinion on the best road forward. Work on the 4th album and copious amounts of getting good support slots to increase the fanbase would be exactly what I'd like to see happen in the future. I hope it happens!

I hope it happens! that are the words Jon said to me. that at this place where the band is they need to go as a support act with some big names more than do their own tour. for me also development of the promotion of the band is required to get it going!

unless it's 'last ever uk show of this set [being the 2 hr TDT set]'. that seems unlikely but... blimey.

If that is the case, I'm really quite disappointed. If it is going to be their last ever tour, then why only the three gigs?

I'm fairly sure it's just a promotional line to say that it's the first and last time they're performing TDT in full live?

Fuck. What a scary thing. I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation. I mean, we know it can't be fully accurate, because they've got at least four shows booked before London (Nottingham, Bristol and two in Holland) so it can't be the FIRST time they're playing the dark third. If it's the last, that's gutting, but there could easily be more non-tdt shows, as mrguy says.

Google calls it - 'the band is out of each other' - nothing on any twitters?
