Other people already have, radio silence.
They aren't going to just tell one person on twitter, it'll be a proper announcement about a tour with confirmed dates and ticket links.

Ugh. And I can't make the London show because I'm at a conference. May be able to hit Bristol. Oceansize and PRR in the same year...that's just harsh

Over and out. Gutted. Seen The Streets, The Music and now PRR split up this year: the bands who made my favourite records of the last 10 years will all be gone by the end of November. Really, really miserable.

That's that then.
£21 for a London ticket though... I'm not really sure I can afford that at the moment...

Gutting news...it has been on the horizon for a while but doesn't make it any less of a huge shame.
I'll definitely be at London, may well go to another show or two as well, if I can work out some logistics.

So gutted by this. I'm so disappointed that they weren't able to have a full and proper tour, the last year has just been so disjointed in terms of news and everything. I'm going to have to go to Nottingham for that show, as I almost certainly won't be able to make it to London, and I'll *hopefully* be in Manchester.

Got my London ticket now. Don't think I could stand to make another show in the run-up: I want the final hurrah to be special and feel like an Occasion with a capital 'O'. Seeing them play the same set that they'll be signing off with in London somewhere else a few days earlier would somehow spoil it for me, I think. Ironic, as if this hadn't been a farewell tour I think I would have made an effort to make several shows.
Still just a wee bit stunned here to be honest, not looking forward to the full realisation kicking in properly over the coming days.

It's been a fun few years though eh?
Damn fine band, damn shame.

I'm in denial.
Soon it will be anger, bargaining and depression.

I'm dead with that news. i feel like an ill-news-bringer. so stupid I ever started this topic. playlist for next week will not differ a lot. PRR what to do more is to go to all the last 6 shows. and that is sure

How incredibly sad. I kidded myself into thinking this day wasn't coming. But here it is I actually haven't listened to them in a few weeks, what with some new releases taking over my ipod. I think on my flight home tomorrow I will play all three albums in succession though. RIP PRR, gone too soon.

It's really sad. I've never seen this happen to a band I was so attached to before. I really hope the band members go on to do other great things.
