Where did you hear that? I can't find any mentions of a September/October release on either of PRR's official channels (Myspace and Facebook). So far, the only hint from a 'proper' source that I have heard has been the press release for the Victorious Cupid EP through ORG Records:
"PURE REASON REVOLUTION start their next period of musical evolution and the build up to their much anticipated second full album with a one off four track EP on ORG Records. The new album is due out this summer - more news from the band and their new label when they're good and ready- all sounding rather good to me..."
Not saying the band aren't going to have the new album out as late as September/October, but unless you've heard that from someone in the know then surely a guess of June/July/August (generally considered the summer months) is more likely?

I do pop by Wiki now and then. All the changes made it fun, but it was real silly too. Hope it's sorted out now.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pure_Reason_Revolution"The band are releasing a 4-track EP of "Victorious Cupid" on ORG Records on 14 April 2008, accompanied by a one-off London show on 12 April 2008.[17][18] and the album is expected in Sept/Oct 2008."I don't have a clue if it's true or not. Hope not and that you are right!! There is also no ref there for the release date. 17) is www.dprp.net/news/index.php?i=2008_10"...The new single will be Part 37 of the ORG-AN-ISED SINGLES CLUB and is released on April 14th, subscribers and advance orders will be sent out on April 7th...Limited edition of 1000. CD only, no download or any other format...."18) is www.organart.demon.co.uk/orgimenu.htmSame as above, most likely the source of it and the same as you have. "...Pure Reason Revolution start their next period of musical evolution and the build up to their much anticipated second full album with a one off four track EP on ORG Records. The new album is due out this summer – more news from the band and their label when they’re good and ready – all sounding rather good to me..."I'm also a bit curious to why PRR are releasing the EP on ORG. It's kinda small, eh?? Are ORG goin to release the album too? If not, who are?? The EP is only a limited edition of 1000... Doesn't feel like a big build up to their album. I don't know..... I just wanna hear it now Also Jon's page is on Wiki again en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Courtney

Yeah there's been some troubles with the wikipedia lately; this bastard called "Justpassinby" has basically been trying to destroy PRR's article for some reason...(as well as Jon's) but I think he's been banned now. The person who put the Sept/Oct thing was editing from an anonymous IP address, and hasn't replied to a question about how he got that info. Presumably he must have some reason for it though.

Yeah. I think justpassingby was banned 2-3 weeks ago.
And the 'he' that wrote about sep-oct was asked days ago too, so there's been time to answer!
I was thinkin the same, but I'd like to know where the info came from? The difference between summer and sep-oct might not be that big - but it feels like it.

Aah, I see, wikipedia - the fount of all knowledge! Good spot, but I think we can safely place the hinted September/October release in the 'Rumours & Hearsay' category until we hear from a better source then... which is a good thing! Sadly, it's most likely that the only people who really know when Album #2 is going to be out are Jon/Chloe/Jamie/Paul, and I'm sure they'll give us a better idea whenever they're able to do so.

They probably don't even know themselves to be honest. I do think we still just have to wait and see....I don't trust Wiki even a little bit as I've been watching the amount of sabotage on that page over the last few months, you can never tell what information is actually true.

I expect ORG are realeasing the single because they are AWESOME. the singles club thing is pretty legendry, they have a long history of supporting small bands. It's great PRR are on this list, it can only mean good things for them As for the album... it's been a while since ORG put one out I think, wouldn't have thought they'll do this but you never know.

I wonder will it be released , like the new EP, on ORG as well?..so many of these bands I know, their biggest hurdle right now isn't having material to make an album, but having A RECORD LABEL TO RELEASE IT.

Hate to use wikipedia as a source again, but I can't help thinking that whoever posted
"A live album entitled "Live at NEARfest 2007" is due in June and the new studio album is expected in September of 2008. "
must have had some reason for doing so...

Interesting... and great if it's true!
I'm not going to slag Wikipedia off totally - 'they' were right the last time.
