Mmm yeah...kinda oceansize meets sigur ros. Getting ever more excited.... As for recording the show, there will be new tracks being played so that would be even more illegal than normal. But I would certainly watch any youtube videos that appear....

I'm so terrible with knowing my local bands...yet another good sounding Leeds band I've never heard of!

Gotta say that after visiting Vessels' Myspace page, I wasn't all that impressed. Sounded a bit bland to me: not enough punch to be interesting on the experimental side of things, and even less on the melody side of things to press my 'mainstream' buttons. I'll give them a fair chance in London, but I'm not expecting anything. Then again, I'm paying my seven squids to see our Berkshire chums, so if Vessels are anything other than Nickelback-bad then that'll be a bonus...

Bah, left getting a ticket for a while and I'm proper broke now. Sucks 'cos it's only 30 minutes down the road on a bus n'all.

Mate, if anything was worth borrowing seven quid from somewhere, it's gotta be this. I know the feeling though.

I have the money physically, it's just not something I can justify it on over the electricty bill sadly.
Not like it'll be the last time or 'owt. Shame but I'll get over it.

Er, haven't really got anything to say in this thread, but after a prolific little spell of posting in the last half hour, I saw my moniker occupying the 'Last Post By..' positions in the other 3 sub-forums, so I thought I'd go for the full house: ...er, yay to gigs in Kings Cross! ...or summat...

Less than a week to go!! Very exciting, my friends think I'm mad that I'm more excited about this than seeing Bjork on Friday night!

Modded just to 'Monto Water Rats' as it has become our main thread for the gig. (It's not censorship or anything silly like that just in case anyone was wondering!)
PS....30-40 tickets left now everyone!

Less than a week to go!! Very exciting, my friends think I'm mad that I'm more excited about this than seeing Bjork on Friday night! Your friends are insane. I like Bjork and own all her albums up to and including Medulla, but I've seen various live performances by her on TV, and she is definitely a snooze-fest live: even if your mates aren't familiar with PRR (which I'm sure they are, having you for a mate!), they should automatically assume that unless you were going to see Hard-Fi or Nickelback, whoever you were going to see would be more exciting than a Bjork concert...

I saw Vessals the othe night. Quite good, a bit like Battles but more post-rockey really, worth checking out.
