I am a social smoker, have been for years. Never felt the urge to pick up more on that, so I guess I must have a non-addictive personality.

Hmmm, Admin is the person you want to ask that! I'm not a founding member, unfortunately - I joined at least a few months after the forums had opened, so hopefully Admin will jump in here and fill you in on our history better than I can! But any queries you have, either now or in the future, feel free to fire away with those at any time and someone or other will very likely be able to help you out!

I'm Adrian. Despite my youth, most of the music I listen to is from decades ago, which is why I was delighted to find an amazing band from the present - the Ting Tings. Joking, of course. PRR are fantastically varying and exciting and I should hopefully experience this tomorrow at The Cockpit! My favourite song is Bullitts Dominae, it's something to do with the hypnotic, wavy sounds, especially when the vocals kick in 'give me a rest, this all confirms my paranoia'. Oh, I haven't heard the new material but it should be interesting with the Electronica twist. I look forward to using this forum.

Hi Adrian, welcome to the forums! Hope you have a good time at the Cockpit gig, but (I'm not sure if you've ever had the chance to see PRR live in the past) don't be disappointed if Bullitts Dominae doesn't make the setlist... or if it does, make damn sure that you or someone else is recording it: that would be rarer than rockinghorse crap! ;D

I guessed so, considering most of the songs will be from AVO anyway. I'm listening In Aurelia now, the melody before the last verse in particular is amazing. It will be my first time indeed, I'm really looking forward to it.

Hoping that PRR get over to Cambridge sometime soon, that would be amazing...

I'm Olly, and I'm a student from somewhere in Surrey. My interests are music, psychology, beer and Hugh Laurie I play guitar, and pretend that i can sing and play piano too! The kind of music i like includes Oceansize, Muse, Porcupine Tree, pretty much everything Josh Homme and Mike Patton have done, then a whole load of post rock and math rock. I basically like really epic stuff! I'll be at the PRR Dingwalls gig next tuesday hopefully, so yeah, I'm ridiculously excited about that! Although, now I'm actually 18, the gig is for ages 14+... i missed out so much last year on their gigs because they were for 18+ dammit

Thank you! Well I found out about this site thanks to Max/Blank Planet on a muse forum, so you may be getting a slight surge of muse / PRR fans heading this way
