holy hell. i think they looked better when there was more of a 'dress code' just because they looked like more of a band, a complete unit. that is grim though.

I dunno...I'm not gonna start bitching about other peoples dress sense as I'm not expert so I'm staying out of that debate but I prefer them to wear what they want, I'm not really a fan of the 'styling' of bands, it became pretty obvious as soon as the stylist got ditched that shirts and ties aren't really what they want to wear so why should they have to if the music they are making is good.
I mean, several people have said they don't like Chloe's hair as much these days, but if she likes it then what business is it of ours, and the same goes for Jon's dress sense.

Agree with just about every word of this.

I would go and see PRR if they came to Sweden even if they were covered in black plastic bags

I was kidding about the stylist!
but to be fair, I agree with Blondie.
I really don't give a shit what my favorite bands wear...I know I'll get slammed down for saying so, but I think slipknot have the right idea by all dressing exactly the same and not having any individuality in what they wear (except the masks obviously)

Now if you're defending Slipknot's excuse-for-music, then that's another matter entirely...

I'm not talking about them being styled or their haircuts, just about them looking like they are part of the same band. It's like the Slipknot thing, they are clearly all part of the same band (though it's taken to an extreme). It's like in REVERE, the dress code is all black, with a little bit of red, and smart-ish dress. It just makes them look like one. But being so close to the visual identity of that band I'm quite affected by all that.

I really wouldn't have put it past them

When I made that last comment I was in no way implying that I thought that Jon's choice of outfit was bad (thanks BA...) I couldn't care less about what anyone wears or how they look as an ensemble. I just thought it was quite.....forthright. And VERY unJonish. It's quite an amusing departure from his normal dark colours. He probably finally got fed up with people mocking him for always wearing the Leather Jacket/hoodie combo thing.
And does anyone know what his "shirt" said we should save? I can't see the operative word.

Ah, you've got to admit it came across that way, even if you didn't intend it to, the joy of online communication...and it wasn't only aimed at you, you weren't the only person to pass comment! Either way, its just a bit of an unessecary discussion, this is another of those, we have nothing to talk about so we're clutching at straws conversation I feel. Next thread: Jamie's hoodie...

I'm sure when the albums out and they start touring again this forum will be alive with rantings about hair styles, length of songs and hoodies!
