That album cover thing is more than a little bit Tool-esque...

That's a good point, Lawrie. It's so easy to get worked up and excited over new PRR info.

If that were to be the new album cover I'd be highly disappointed - I don't like it. It's fine to go with the tour, I suppose, as it is eye catching. I hope they will come up with something better, and more suited to their sound, by March.
Just my opinion of course, others may love it. I kind of liked the cheesy 'rays' of the old artwork but others found it a turn-off, so who knows?

I also liked the rising sun rays out of the statues. Part of me was hoping they'd carry that on. I'd kinda guessed that it wasn't going to carry on though when it wasn't incorporated into the Victorious Cupid single cover.

I can't see any of the Dark Third-era artwork returning under any circumstances, and IMO that's a good thing. Not because I didn't like it (I thought it was decent, albeit not superlative, and it fit well with the music), but because the band's sound has changed so radically from their first album that that artwork wouldn't fit with the sound of the new album at all. My own guess is that we'll see something a lot more 'modern' and 'tech-y' for the artwork for AVO that reflects the move to a more cutting-edge electronic sound.

If that isn't the new artwork, then I'm guessing the new stuff will be very similar to it.
First we learnt of the new 'size album art for Frames was a tour add just like that one.

Whoever was talking about there being a concept, or at least theme, of love seems to have hit the nail on the head then.

I believe that would be me. Sorry though, I was cheating, Jamie told me the album title at the Cargo - so it wasn't as amazing a prediction as it might look.
As for album art, I just don't think this can be it - it doesn't feel like an album cover. To me it gives the sense of Chloe messing around a bit more. But it does seem to fit with the Cargo banner, so I think Ryan's probably right to presume that "If that isn't the new artwork, then I'm guessing the new stuff will be very similar to it."

Since Jamie told you the title, TDF, how is it pronounced? I'm thinking "Uh-more' win'-kit om'-nee-uh." I guess it might be different, since Deus Ex Machina is said differently than it usually is?

The pronunciation's pretty much right there. Just trade "Uh" for "Ah" if you're being picky like me

Yeah, I believe that is the technically correct latin pronounciation (just as Machina should technically be 'makeena') but he said Vincit as in vin-sit, ie not turning the v into a w and not turning the c into a k as my old latin teacher would have told him to. Also yes musecubed is right in saying the 'a' should be nice and short on amor, as in almost rhyming with glamour but with more of an 'or' rather than a 'er'. Talking of being picky, the title should technically be amor omnia vincit...Romans always put the verb at the end.

I don't think they taught us to use apostrophes properly

DAMN DAMN DAMN. I hate when people use apostophes like that. How can you ever forgive me? I am so ashamed.
