Shurely not too different from Deus then?

I certainly get the feeling album 3 will be both heavier and more electronic than AVO, which sounds awesome imo. I believe the word "desolation" came up in one tweet refering to a new song.

Again, an album of Deus sounds lovely to me!

Variety is the spice of life of course. I certainly wouldn't object to a predominantly Deus direction taken for album 3, but I hope they keep the pace up with a few tracks in the spirit of Les Malheurs, and I wouldn't mind a suite of songs to recapture a little bit of The Dark Third's grander sound. Spring can't come soon enough, although I do wonder when they'll start dropping a few samples our way. They started that process off quite early with AVO.

Haha, When they put the apogee 90sec sample on, I would literally listen to it 5-10 times continually looping back and ignoring the gloaming one after. Must have heard it 100+ times on their myspace. Cargo and hearing it fullway for 1st time was awesome after that.

Jumping on board the "I'm good with a Deus-led album" bandwagon. Like butler, I wouldn't mind a bit of a revisit to The Dark Thirds sound as well. I missed the spacey sounds TDT had.
(And as always, hoping for something vaguely similar sounding to Golden Clothes. I'm a loser I know.)

mmmm...golden clothes...yummy. I think it's the structurally coolest thing they've done, and a masterful/unique example of how to fuse electro with TDT.

"Another day working with Mr. Tom Bellamy…its going really rather splendidly… a sonic feast!" Jon Courtney Twitter update.
If anyone loves the Coopers, you'll know why I almost spat out my sandwich when I read this. Good news.

Great news that No.3 is in production. I really hope they turn the guitars up on this one though...
