Just got the latest eclipsed (german prog-rock magazine) and was surprised to see a PRR gig announced in their concerts section for April 24th. It'll be a mini-festival including PRR, Riverside and Jolly (all great bands). Following the promotion link, they say album 3 is about to be released in May! Yay! ;D impuls-promotion.de/ |

WOW! If that's true then...well, YES YES YES YES YES!!!!
Sadly, I think a May album is very unlikely, since from the hints on twitter it looks like they've only got to about track 3, and if it's a 3-track album then well...that would be weird. The gig might well be right though, so here's hoping they give us another tour before summer arrives!!

It'd have to be finished my March to get it out for May. I also see that as unlikely.

Ideally we would love the album to be released by May and that's the month we are working towards but we wont release something we dont feel is 100% ready. I'm really excited about this record though and I honestly think it's the best stuff we've ever done...not being biased. hehe.
Considering they were saying May 2008 for AVO, and it actually came out March 09 this isn't necessarily anything to get our hopes up about.....but still:

Nice one, TDF, thanks for sharing your update.  Still looks like it will be a case of sticking a pin in a calendar blindfolded for when we'll actually see the album, but it's encouraging to say Jamie hear that they're delighted with how it's going so far. Now to twiddle my thumbs... |

I'm excited that we know very little of quite what this album sounds like. There have been little bits of info dropped but nothing that really gives away a lot.

Have been following the updates on Jamie's twitter, can't actually wait... Some of the things he's said sound amazing. Argh, I don't want them to rush it all, but I need new PRR.

Jamie said the other day that there would be an album tour in October/November, and that the new album is a mix of Dark Third/AVO's sounds. He also said that he can't wait to play it live, so I can't wait for my first dose of live PRR later this year...

I wonder if we'll be treated to a single before the album?
That said, I'm going to try and restrain myself more with album 3. By the time AVO was released, I'd heard pretty much every track in some form. Has to be said though, it was on the short side for a full album release, I'd love album 3 to be a few tracks longer.
