Oh for goodness sake. If you truly believe the band are over then why the hell are you still here posting? This is getting so boring... I just don't understand this need for sitting speculating what may happen...yes, I'm as bloody impatient as the rest of you and yes, I'm worried nothing seems to be happening, I doubt there are many who would miss this band as much as I would, as has been joked about. But at the end of the day, no matter what we speculate or say on here, nothing is going to change- either the band will get it together because they WANT to or, sooner or later they'll admit they're calling it a day. And thats up to them to decide in their own time. While they are still claiming a second album is on the way, I see no reason not to believe them.
And I know sitting waiting is boring and frustrating but there is literally bugger all else we can do about it. So why we have to keep going round in circles I simply don't understand.

Until I hear otherwise, I will continue to believe that PRR see a future for themselves and plan to release new music. I think they probably still in the recording/production stage for a new album, which would explain the lack of updates.
That said though, if the band members do choose to go their own ways and pursue individual or other projects, I'd be annoyed if there was no official statement - however brief - to say that PRR were splitting up: it wouldn't be fair to just disappear without a word (a la Portishead, until recently).

There WILL be another record, probably within the next few months. I know this because I believe in the concsiences of all four band members enough not to accuse them of lying repeatedly. We have had bulletin after bulletin telling us that recording is in progress and to hold on, as well as ample apology for the delay. Why should we doubt their word?
We the fans should keep faith, to help them on their way.

ok, going by what I've heard - the band now all have full time jobs and the recording of the album has not really started so to speak.

Ok...something you've 'heard' from where. I don't doubt that they need to make money to live off and therefore will almost certainly need jobs but what I do doubt it that they would openly lie in saying they are recording an album. Obviously it's not gonna be full time cos this time they haven't got Sony behind them, it may well be back in Jon's bedroom...in fact, it may well be that Jon is sitting with a keyboard and guitar and a computer on his own but I'm not willing to believe they'd tell bare faced lies.
Also, one minute you think theres not gonna be an album because they're working on other projects, now its because they've got jobs? Seems like you're going on a several different incidences of hearsay.
As I said, I really don't get why you'd hang around repeatedly saying this if you genuinley don't think (or 'have heard') there won't be anymore albums...is it so you can sit back and say I told you so or something? All it's doing is reverting us back to empty speculation.

some of you may know me, some of you may not. that's really not important now is it...
anyhoo - this is all getting a bit crazy now so I thought I better get involved because some of you really need to shut the fuck up.
99.9% of you have no clue about the effort and work that goes into making PRR happen wether that be shows, albums or maybe the members of the band looking after themselves for a change and earning some money so they're not living like scum.
True, there have been legal issues but seriously, leave it there. stop asking, cos no one's going to say anything.
as far as the album goes, it'll get done when it'll get done. There is no set release date. when the band/Jonathan know, they'll tell you. just leave them in peace to do it. so what if Jon goes to Uni and DJ's? If there's going to be another PRR album, then it'll arrive in it's own time.
as far as calling for Jonathan's sacking, I've never heard such ignorant shit.
in all honesty, some of your posts really smack of ignorance. learn the facts, then you can start mouthing off.

But aye. ALL manner of bollocks being knocked back and forth. Sure I'm guilty of some to be honest.
And I'm not sure if I said owt in Jonathans defence, but he is a fucking great bloke and I've never had anything but great vibes from him. He seems well into the band and well into making it happen.

Not sure where all the bad blood's come from lately - I think everyone who posts on these boards all want the same thing: PRR to keep making music and be as successful as they possibly can. At the end of the day, I think we all care about that a lot more than wanting to dig about in the previous legal shennanigans that's nobody's business anyway, or other peripheral issues. I'd guess that all the sniping that has been going on (in all directions) is just due to us all caring about this band so much and really wanting them to make it. Fair play to nikosonfire for calling time on anyone who makes assumptions about the state of the band without knowing the full facts, but we're all here because we love PRR and we want the best for them - hopefully we can all go forward on the same page from this point.
