Does anyone else have any questions (that would be appropriate for an interview) to put forward?
Briggsy, you are more than welcome to raise/discuss your points in another thread, perhaps the H&A verdict thread? I think you'd get more of an active/engaged discussion about it there.

Oh yeah, just reread the last bit of your initial post! Must be real then. Gah. Misunderstanding on my side, he's only got the itunes download as well. So we probably have to wait for one of the US guys on the board to finally tell us... I've been informed it's an error on the digital side, not an alternative track listing- the changes are being made but it's not something that can be done with instant effect, so on iTunes, the correct order will be available from November 16th. The album is available in the U.S. at a good price (and in the correct order...) from www.cmdistro.com/Item/Pure_Reason_Revolution_-_Hammer_And_Anvil/35761As far as I know, all the hard copies have the correct order..

If we're allowed 13 tracks though (can an admin make a ruling on this please?) I've also kept the encore to two songs, which is I think a more normal ratio between main set and encore - is this allowed admin? All sounds fine- it's YOUR ultimate PRR set list. Now, obviously, this is within reason as I'm sure most people would say 'just play it all!' if given free reign and the fun of it is, as you say, to choose. So lets say 13 tracks, as 1 extra track given a whole new album is still fairly tough. The encore/main set ratio is entirely your choice.

Oooh I don't know about that. This forum is proboards and therefore all pretty much formatted and designed already, all you have to do is work on the settings but it still took a good few hours work to set up initially. You also can't just leave a website sitting, it has to be maintained on a very regular basis.
Unless someone is a trained web designer, you'd only end up with a shoddy looking site and there's little point in that, they'd be better off just with MySpace in that instance.

Yes they've got a decent website now, but it looks like the link to this lovely forum is gone! Does that make us more exclusive and cool? Or do the band just not like us? It's still there- in the 'Information and Contact' section, though we are listed as a fansite rather than a forum which is a bit of a shame- I'd argue they are quite different things. Guess we're not that exclusive and cool after all...

I think I'm the only one who prefers "light" themes, so it's probably not worth your time Well, that's why I thought I'd put the option out there- if anyone else is interested, it gives them a chance to speak up and if there's a want for it, I'll do it when I get some spare time. If you mostly view it on a small screen, I can see why using the proboards default would make more sense regardless- it's less image intensive etc.

I feel very bad bitchin' around again, but to me the band photo looks a bit squeezed vertically... I'll shut up immediately if you tell me that the original image looks just the same. Hopefully it's better now- I've put all this time into it, may aswell take an extra couple of minutes to get it as 'perfect' as it can be

How does the B&W one reflect the bands current image? Personally, I prefer "lighter" themes, so I use the proboards default...Out of the dark ones, the B&W one looks the most professional, and I like the Cautionary one the most. Well, the picture in the banner is from their most set of publicity pictures and the font is in a similar style to the one they are using at the moment in their promo material. mrguy - I could potentially look at making a 'light' skin, if people think they'd use it? It hadn't occurred to me before that all our custom skins are dark, personal preference creeping in a bit there. It wouldn't be for a week or so though, already spent far too long messing about with skins for one day. But if you'd rather just keep using Proboards default, that's also cool.

OK. So, as the general consensus is that the yellow is impractical for the forum, I decided to try a more functional new design. I hope this one is more to people's liking- as much as I want a new design, to reflect the band's current image, the last thing I want to do is scare new members away with yellow.
It's listed as 'Band B&W' in the drop down menu and I hope it's a little more popular. Obviously, if you still don't like it, as before the old skins are all there and if you became particularly attached to the yellow or like things a little more colourful, it is still there too, called 'Hammer & Anvil.'

No, obviously that was not purposeful. I knew about it but was going to come back to it when I had slightly more time. Thanks for the colour reference though.
EDIT: Done.

Hehe, so it seems I saw the design when it wasn't finished. It looks a hell of a lot better without these big yellow bars everywhere. ;D Now, my only suggestion would be to make the box surrounding a quote a bit darker, if that's possible. Just had a look- not possible with the proboards options I'm afraid., quotes are automatically just the same colour as borders.

I like this new H&A theme - nice work. EDIT - actually, my one suggestion for change would be that we revert to the white star/yellow star (or similar) system to tell you if there are new posts in a thread or not. The 'folder/new' icons aren't as instantly distinguishable for me. But it's no biggie, and if we can't change that for any reason - or if the majority like these 'folder' icons - then that's fine with me. No problem, done, I agree- just had to find the star images!

It is the new forum design, sorry about the yellow, obviously I wasn't the one to choose the colour scheme.
If you prefer the old themes, they are all available in your user profile, just go into there to get the old ones, there's a drop down menu- as a general policy, the forum design gets updated every time the band produces new artwork but we never make it so you can't use the old ones if you prefer.
(FYI, the previous forum design was in fact linked to artwork that was used by the band around the time of the release of Deus.)
EDIT: The yellow has now been slightly toned down. The logo at the top will definately be staying, I'm open to anyones thoughts about the rest of it- if the consensus is the rest of the yellow totally needs to go then we can go with that but without any colour accent it looks a little bland.

Hi everyone, Just to let you know, this forum is now available on the Proboards forum directory, which means it can now be accessed from the Proboards iPhone app (and any smartphone apps that are released in the future.)
If you search for 'The Realm of the Divine' you should now find us.
Unfortunately, it does cost £1.79 at the moment to download the Proboards app - obviously, that bit is totally out of our hands. Enjoy!
