As it's a totally separate forum (fan forum rather than run by sony/the band, even though the band DID say they were going to back it as the official one but then promptly forgot) stuff can't be carried over, annoying as that is...and just giving you the stars, well, that would take all the fun out of it now wouldn't it...

You just got yourself two... (It's 10 posts to get two stars you see and that was your tenth!)

Bulletin from Jamie sent out today on myspace:
Summer greetings to all,
We regret to inform you that we will not be playing the show on Sunday at the Oakford Social Club in Reading. Chloe has fallen ill with a nasty throat infection, a couple of us may be DJing but not too sure yet.
We are extremely sorry if anyone has made plans to come down. This was going to be one of our only shows for the next few months due to out recording commitments.
Again many apologies for any inconvenience.
As you may have noticed it has been quiet the last few weeks, we've all had a bit of a needed break, with commitments of moving houses and studios but now the PRR motor has started running again and the writing and recording of the new album is under way again.
We will be keeping you all updated with blogs and videos when we get the opportunity but it is going to be a busy 6 months in the Pure Reason camp. Busy but also exciting.
Hope you're all excited as us.
Jamie
xx

And here is the full bulletin sent out by Jamie today: Arlines, Porcupines and Studio Times... Hello there my lovelies...
As you should all know we are in the process of recording our follow up to The Dark Third. So far it’s going well but sadly no little snippets to show you all but it looks like we’re running on time….
…. So because we’re running on time we decided to make life difficult for ourselves…
YES THAT’S RIGHT…. We’re going on tour…As most of you know we’re taking a little trip over to the good old U S of A to play Nearfest at the end of next month so while we’re out enjoying the weather we thought it would be nice to put a few shows around the same time. We have added Boston, New York and Philadelphia dates to our journey.
AND IF YOU THOUGHT THAT WASN’T ENOUGH…
We have just been confirmed to support Porcupine tree on their June/July European tour. This means we will be visiting Holland, Belgium, Poland, Germany and France again plus making our first trip over to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The full list of dates are on our Myspace now. Well it's still only the background of a proboards forum really, I'm sure they've got other things to do with their time at the minute. (If you preferred the old one, you still choose to use it in your profile settings, think it's called The Dark Third or something equally obvious)

Ah to be fair, I think the black thing could be down to me- they gave me the logo, which was relatively small, and I turned it into a background basically and didn't have a large amount of time to put into the job.

Although I think the fact I was asked to put this artwork in place as the new background probably does suggest it's more than just the poster for this one-off gig and certainly that it wasn't designed by the people at the venue.

OK, this topic has nowhere to go now as far as I can see. And please, end of bickering anywhere in the place, don't make me regret starting up a forum for fans to share their love of this band. End of story.

They definately know it exists, I've told both Jamie and Jon on separate occasions so I'm sure they've had a peek. That was quite a while ago now, doubt they check it too regularly but Jamie even sent a link to it in a myspace bulletin once.

You may find yourselves able to be a bit more explicit in expression as of now...
