Just a curious question, for the admin, here. Why have you opted for setting the board to Limited Registration? Have had serious troll problems?
Hope to be chatting with you all, soon. Meantime, i'll just read and get a feel of things around here. Welcome Yes, sadly over the years we've had a few trolling problems so it became necessary for us to keep an eye. It was a decision taken by us and backed by PRR. Sorry if you had to wait too long for approval, bank holiday weekend and all.

I agree and was under the belief we were only seeking permission for things that are not available freely elsewhere.
We've made our stance on the sharing of material that can be bought quite clear: we don't condone it and it can't happen on these boards.
So...for now, I think I'll end my part of this with: if you want to obtain The Sunset Sound material, I recommend you buy what is officially available.

You're right, The Sunset Sound material isn't Jamie's to approve. But until we have word from someone who is able to do so (which may or may not come) then we can't answer for them. Some of the band members are very busy...they are, after all, recording an album and rehearsing for a gig at the moment and responding to e-mail isn't always their strong point.
As Lawrie said, until then, the links to obtain the material legitimately are available.

Now safely home, with batteries recharged and without an ounce of volcanic ash touching me, I figured I would stop by to update y’all on PRR happenings.
The tour with Riverside and Jolly was an amazing experience, both are great bands and so friendly, the shows went really well and it was great to get back out and play some shows after 9 months. I just want to quickly extend a huge thank you to Riverside & Jolly for being great touring companions but most of all thanks to the crowds at every venue for being so welcoming and friendly.
Now we are back it’s full steam ahead to complete the album… and it’s not far off now… Be prepared for a little PRR taster coming very soon.
Lastly…If you are planning on going to the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen show I would advise you not to leave it too late to book tickets. Tickets are selling well and it’s looking like it should be a great show.
You can pick up tickets from:
ticketweb
seetickets
musicglue
Hope to see you all there

There are official t-shirts, they are just only available when the band are on tour as they don't currently have their own online merch store. That said, I see no reason you can't make your own, should you choose to do so!

Does what it says on the tin -------------------------------- Afternoon all, I’m just taking a quick break to update ya’ll about what’s been happening in camp PRR… So…we are still blasting our way through the 3rd album…the process has taken a little longer than we first anticipated but we’re very aware we don’t want to just rush an album out for the sake of it. We are all very excited with the direction the album is taking and cant wait to play the material live… Our first shows of 2010 are approaching fast and we are planning more exciting stuff for the remainder of 2010…The year looks like its going to be packed full of goodies but this is all I can say for now… See ya’ll soon… Jamie

Sorry about the downtime yesterday everyone, probords were having problems with their servers and when that happens, we're at their mercy. On the plus side, things seem to be sorted out now, fingers crossed.

Last I spoke about it with the band, they said they didn't see why they'd put another one up, as there seems to be little reason - this has acted as the official forum for a couple of years now.
Of course, they might change their minds but that was the last I heard.

I'm sure everybody who needs to know has already got this news but PRR are gutted to have had to cancel their performance at Night of The Prog, Loreley this weeked as Chloe has come down with a nasty case of gastroenteritis.
Sorry to anyone who was going and get well soon Chloe.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys, but here's a message from PRR. -----------------------------------
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to cancel our appearance at The Junction in Cambridge this weekend. This wasn’t a decision we took lightly, and we’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The Show is still happening, so we definitely recommend you go along and check out the Boxer Rebellion.
The London and Sheffield Shows will still be going ahead as planned.
See you soon PRR

Right, that's it...censoring should now officially be off, I honestly thought I'd done that a long time ago. Though that was fairly amusing...
