What do we reckon then? Return of Clean Bandit as a support act for the live-string goodness? Or even - dare I mention it - the string section of A Genuine Freakshow guesting after a triumphant support slot...?
(This is all speculation by the way, no idea who the supports will be, probably not anywhere near confirmed yet.)

Told ya! (And yes, if I need to cut off all my limbs and drag myself to a gig using only my tongue, it will be more than worth it to see Magic get a live run-out at long, long last!)

No need to worry, gilthar. I'm as gutted as anyone about the likely cancellation of the Reading show: in fact, I'm more gutted - I think I had more emotionally invested in the prospect of PRR and AGF on the same bill than anybody else on these boards (apart from maybe Ryan). But PRR are far from on the way out, and I know that for a fact. Can't say any more for the moment (so don't bother asking), and I'm sorry to be a tease with information - I'd never have even posted anything at all on the subject if this thread hadn't cropped up. Just take it as read that there's no need to worry for the forseeable future.

I am SO stoked for this it's untrue! This feels like a chance to rectify my mistake missing out on R.E.M./Radiohead tickets in Milton Keynes in 1996. Not the same scale, but certainly in the same quality ballpark...

I was waiting ages for my bundle and hadn't heard anything, so I e-mailed "shop@tshirtmachine.com". Heard back (within a day or so) from a chap called Nick Burdett there, and he told me my order had been delayed because they were waiting for stock from their suppliers on the T-shirt I had ordered (Yellow 'Crest' on a Black T-Shirt, XL size). Said that they had other T-shirts in stock if I would accept a different shirt (from what they had in stock at that moment), and that order would be posted that same day if so. I was comfortable enough with that, so I chose a Blue 'Crest'/Black T-Shirt and sure enough I got my order (including both DVDs) in the post the very next day (Tuesday of this week). I'd try e-mailing "shop@tshirtmachine.com" again (and you may as well mark your mail FAO Nick Burdett, as he was very helpful with my order). Make sure to send it with Delivery Receipt and Read Receipt options turned on so you know that your mail got there safely - the Read Receipt might not get used, but at least it shows to them that you are tracking the mail and you will be expecting a reply. Best of luck, hope you get some positive news on your order. EDIT - whoops, just typed all that, then saw Ryan's post - phoning them is probably a good way to go too! D'oh!

Yeah, should be good news for us on the forum, hopefully we'll get a few new members who never even knew our little old Proboards site ever existed. Thumbs up.

We've just had some inside info from PRR Towers about the DVDs for sale at the merch site. The band have been working really hard to make sure the DVDs are absolutely top notch packages (as these are the first ever officially released standalone PRR DVDs), and as a result they have been running a couple of weeks behind the planned release schedule so orders with DVDs in them may take a little longer to ship than the delivery times on the website. We've been told that the final versions will be well worth the wait though - better to have them done well rather than rushed, I imagine.
EDIT - sorry, forgot to mention, we're also told that the problems with the Contact Form on the merch site are being looked into as well as a result of mrguy's feedback, so hopefully that will be sorted before too long.

YES! Did anyone know that the Italia Wave DVD was coming out? EDIT: the contact email doesn't work :/ The "shop@tshirtmachine.com" address? Is it bouncing back your e-mails or something? If your e-mails are bouncing back, my order confirmation e-mail came from "shop@purereasonrevolutionmerch.com". I'm not sure if it's a Send Only address (i.e. used to confirm orders, but incoming messages not actually read), but it must be a working account as it sent the confirmation e-mail, so that might be worth a shot if the "shop@tshirtmachine.com" one is playing up for you?

Definitely the T-shirt/DVDs offer for me, as not getting to the Scala meant I haven't pre-ordered the Scala DVD. Every cloud, and all that... ;D

Are you a grown man or what? Welcome to the forums. I'm sure that you made the effort to sign up to a PRR fan forum to discuss your appreciation of Pure Reason Revolution and related topics like everyone else here did. And on that note, may I just congratulate you on an excellent first post?

It's still a great teaser, many watches later. The only bit that's slightly iffy is around the 45 second mark where Tom Bellamy (I presume?) puts the violin bow on Chloe's shoulder. It's probably less than a second's worth of footage and it's taken out of context (i.e. maybe it won't look so daft when you're viewing the whole thing), but that gesture does send out a few Alice-Cooper-in-a-naff-way vibes to me: a wee bit cringe-y.
Other than that, it still looks ****ing awesome and I can't wait for the day the DVD lands in my letterbox.

Not sure about the 'best' show as such, but probably the one I've enjoyed most was the Monto Water Rats in April 2008. The band were on good form there, but the crowd was amazing - the venue was way oversold (read: absolutely rammed in there) and there was a real party mood flowing through the crowd. Probably due to being so packed in there, but the atmosphere of the audience that night made it a special one for me.

Jesus, but the New Year and the DVD release can't come soon enough!
EDIT - looking at that setlist above, a little surprised that Malheurs didn't make the cut. Sound-wise it would have fitted in with the new material in the main set, and quality-wise it is (IMO) one of the tracks that I'd expect would never be a candidate for leaving out, right up at the top end of their quality spectrum for me.
