Who cares...its got my name in it... Totally jealous of that - my name features in a number of Marillion albums, but only because I paid for the honour, and only in their albums which I don't like so much

Hahaha, you've probably put a new wing on Jon's solid gold mansion, the amount of gigs you've gone to... ;D

Seems a bit corrupt somehow... You pre-order the album before it's recorded, this then pays for the recording of said album. When the album comes out your name is in it as a thank you.

Seems a bit corrupt somehow... LOL it wasn't really like that... I paid for my copy of the album about a year in advance, and they used the advance sales money to fund the making of the album - everyone who paid in advance got listed within the album.

My I like the AVO artwork better than the TDT artwork. Neither of them are Frances The Mute (my own personal Gold Standard in album art), but of the two I prefer AVO's artwork. Do agree that some of the spacing of the text in the lyric booklet is a bit bonkers though, and the multiple instances of "Dues" rather "Deus" is buffoonery of the highest order: does no one proof-read these boys before they go to the printers? Aside from that, artwork in AVO is pretty decent inside and out for me. lol. just noticing the typos! i agree about artwork being betta then on TDT. i like the pics inside sleeves more then cover IMO. My fingers r still crossed it comes out on vinyl or we can buy a poster but not the same And congrats on names in sleeve! u earnt it 2 wiv settin up this site!

Aside from that, artwork in AVO is pretty decent inside and out for me. Interesting fact: When you type "deus" into word, it automatically changes it to dues. I'm wondering if somebody typed up the lyrics into word, and then copied and pasted it into the lyrics layout, which they then justified, leaving hideous riverbed spaces...

Now that PRR are on my list of 'trusted artists' (whose albums I would buy without listening to first), who do we talk to, to make this a reality for the next album?

Well, not all artists need that. PRR don't have expensive studio/producer costs for example, because they do it themselves. Then they have a label who handle pressing costs & distribution.

I'm actually not convinced all the lyrics are totally right either, there are some that no matter how hard you listen, what they've got written there is definately gramatically different from what you hear. Occasionally they take out the odd smaller words to help the lyrics scan the melody - eg The Twyncyn/Trembling Willows; if you watch one of those webisodes (not that I can remember which one) the recording of it can be seen, and the lyric sheets they have have biro scribblings over those words given in the lyric booklet but not sung in the song. Unless you meant anything greater than that.

I don't have the lyric booklet with me it's in Leeds...but one example I can think of off the top of my head is 'kissed by god, burnt ghosts' It just absolutely and utterly sounds like 'burnS ghosts' to me no matter how hard I listen to it...I know its pedantry really but still.

Also, I still swear that in AVO, it sounds a million times more like 'ever alone' than 'Avalon.' But yeah, it could be just me hearing things wrongly. I don't think all the typos help as it makes you wonder what else is wrong and kinda loose faith in the 'authority' of those lyrics a little bit.
