Just got back from Sheffield...had an awesome night. PRR really are on top form and because they haven't been on tour for weeks this time round, the set was really energetic. Weren't that many people in for PRR's set though it did get busier as the set went on and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. Setlist (I think! Memory isn't perfect) was: Les Malheurs Keep Me Sane/Insane Apogee Deus Ex Machina Victorious Cupid Twyncyn/Trembling Willows Ambassadors AVO
So pretty much exactly the touring set, minus Gloaming which I feel was a good choice...if something had to go I think that was quite a good one to choose, though obviously, you know I'd have them playing for about 2 hours if I could!
The Boxer Rebellion were quite good, though I like about half their tracks, some of the slower ones are a bit too Coldplay-esque for my liking but the upbeat ones are pretty good. All in all was a good evening.

Actually, the live performance of this song was exactly what got me into it sooo much that it's almost become my favourite song on AVO. Yessss!

I was really disspointed by the boxer rebellion. I left half-way through the second song in disgust. But I loved PRR and was glad that they got so many songs in! There was a really good lights display for them at the Scala, which I don't think I've seen before. And the sound they made was more *live* than I think I've ever heard it - not necessarily the best quality, and some detail was lost, but an overall feeling of greater energy and bigness.
