So, these have cropped up, there were posters for the Scala all around the venue last night for anyone who wasnt there, looks like we have our next PRR fix sorted. They are supporting The Boxer Rebellion at:
Thursday 30th April: London Scala Friday 1st May: Cambridge Junction Saturday 2nd May: Sheffield Leadmill I'm sure all will be really good nights, I'd love to be able to get back for London after last night, the atmosphere was just great but sadly I'm stage managing something so I'll have to wait til my Northern fix in Sheffield!

I have not been to the Leadmill since I was at Uni in Sheffield many, many years ago...but I already have two options for that date !
The Scala is almost a definite.

Oooo.
If the Scala doesn't sell out for a little while I might very well head there.
Do we all remember that free gig at Islington Ac. where Boxer Rebellion supported PRR? Do we also remember the shamefully bad Lights?

I'm thinking maybe Cambridge. My ex owes me a trip to Cambridge anyway... *plots and schemes*

Not the best timing from my perspective (I can go to either the Cambridge or the London one...the London one means I have to miss May Day jollities. The Cambridge one means that I'll most likely be absolutely knackered. Tough choice). But I'll be definitely going along to one to mark the beginning of the slippy slope towards finals...

I quite liked The boxer Rebellion when I saw them support PRR at that Islington Academny gig way back when (was it April 2005 or 06?), and bought their album off the back of that gig. Might try and make my way to the London gig then

Do we all remember that free gig at Islington Ac. where Boxer Rebellion supported PRR? Do we also remember the shamefully bad Lights? I think I was at that one. Was talking about it with BA last night and didn't reach a final conclusion on whether we were talking about the same gig or not - mainly because my memories of the one I went to aren't all that clear! I'm sure I've seen PRR in Islington, because I think that was the first time I went to see the band without having some mates to drag along with me. It was an electric-only set (cos didn't they play an acoustic or acoustic/electric set in Islington once? I didn't go to that one), and as I remember the Islington Academy was inside some kind of glass-fronted shopping centre-like building? Am I getting the details right? Must be getting old, my memory's like a sieve these days...

The Boxer Rebellion any good? Embarrassingly, I have almost no recollection of them from seeing them support PRR in Islington: not a good thing...

Can anyone guess as to how long PRR's set is gonna be?

If they're supporting... probably about 30 minutes.
