Thanks for the link! I was really glad to hear Jon say the whole band is behind the new material. It's good to know the shift in direction has been a group thing and not just a "Jon" thing.

Great stuff. ;D It's good to get a proper, bona fide new interview with PRR - over recent years lots of articles about them have either been re-hashing old quotes from pre-TDT days, or else have been asking the same questions as we've all heard answered over and over again beforehand, and all we're left with is slightly different versions of those old re-hashed quotes. (Note that this is totally not the band's fault - they can't help or change what people ask them and how they write about them.) So it's wicked to see a bit of new ground covered there - especially (for me) confirmation of exactly how much Jon does in the studio/recording phases. I always knew that he was the main man (to recall that brilliant Thom Yorke quote about his role in Radiohead: "We're a diplomacy, like the UN. And I'm America..." ), but I don't think I ever quite realised the true extent to which he directs the band and their recording. As FSF rightly says though, good to know the whole band is behind the new direction; and I think it shows in the live shows recently.

Pretty sure this is the best thread for this: There has been an update to www.purereasonrevolution.co.uk. However, it's just an empty Wordpress blog page. . . It looks like they've got it and haven't done anything with it yet. This is odd, considering the "Coming soon" page, which had the same color scheme as the AVO cover. . . We should probably keep checking back on it to see if anything changes.

It's not that odd really- from the looks of it they've got a Wordpress blog to create either a blog the band can update on a seperate page; or its where they will type up their updates and they simply haven't got round to coding the blog to fit the layout they've got in mind.
I've got a blog like it myself so yeah, no real mystery from where I'm sitting...

Tis a good one. Gave it 4/5 and compares them to Depeche Mode...in a complimentary way. That's about all I remember to be honest, its a short one and I was being tight and read it in the shop...did spend £40 on PRR tickets yesterday mind you, so you know, I think a bit of being tight is allowed!!

nice interviews from both! I love getting to know the other side of a band; it's cool to see their personalities in real life when most of what you normally get is from their albums and shows.

not really press... ...but... www.play.com/Music/CD/6-/PreOrderChart.htmlthe album is currently sitting at number 40 in the play.com pre-order chart. with a little luck, and a bit more sales, the album could well make the uk charts!

And another... www.themusicmagazine.co.uk/reviews/albums/3055Not so positive overall but interestingly identifies Disconnect as a high, which is completely the opposite from what most fans have been saying...does this mean they consider it a stronger track than Apogee...as that would seem slightly baffling to me but each to their own and all.
